A photograph of the Parish Church of Munxar, likely taken in the 1920s by Michele Farrugia, known as Il-Badiku.
Construction of the church began in 1914, when the foundation stone was laid on 2 February of that year. Work continued through the following decade, and the building was finally completed and consecrated on 18 October 1925.
