Nadur
Nadur, the village of the rising sun, is one of the most populated villages in Gozo, which was one of the first hamlets on the island that changed to the status of a village in 1688. This happened when Nadur with its peripheral areas was cut off from the Matrice parish in the Citadel and founded a parish on its own. Nadur is located in the northeastern part of the island of Gozo between the villages of Qala, Għajnsielem, and Xaghra. It is located on a hill of 152 meters above sea level.
